UK radio stations come together to recognise NHS workers

At 8pm on Thursday (26th March), radio stations across the UK will pause for a mass applause to recognise the immense efforts of NHS workers.

During these unprecedented times the radio industry is coming together to show its gratitude to all the nurses, doctors, GPs, carers and all the many others working tirelessly to help fight the virus.

Radio stations including Heart, Magic, Classic and KISS will pause to applause NHS workers’ efforts, and encourage people up and down the country to stand and join the applause at their windows, front doors and balconies.

Any radio station that wishes to show their appreciation can get involved and can use the hashtag #clapforourcarers.
