Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing joins heat Radio

Jamie Laing is set to join heat Radio to host a brand new Heatworld show, every Saturday morning 10am-12pm starting 12 September 2015. He’ll be spinning the latest pop hits, looking back at the biggest showbiz stories of the week plus revealing some top gossip.

Jamie will deputise for heat magazine’s editor-in-chief Lucie Cave who heads off on maternity leave. Over the last few years the infectious, energetic Jamie Laing has carefully carved out a flourishing career in both television and Youtube and with his business ‘Candy Kittens’. Jamie started his career as one of the most celebrated cast members of E4’s ‘Made in Chelsea’ and used this experience to develop his talent on-screen and on-air.

Programme Manager at heat radio Mark Higgins said “We loved having Jamie cover for Lucie Cave earlier this year and we’re delighted he’s come back for a longer run. Expect all the latest gossip from Jamie’s life, what’s really going on behind the scenes at Made In Chelsea and much more”.

heat’s Features Editor Kay Ribeiro will also return to cover for Lucie Cave on The Hotlist every Sunday from 10am-12pm, accompanied by heat magazine’s resident TV and film experts Boyd Hilton and Charles Gant.

In addition to his Saturday show, James Barr will be taking on weekdays including #reheat from 10am-1pm with John Isherwood now kicking off the weekend with Party Heat on a Friday night.

Grant Thomson will be leaving heat to concentrate on his existing weekday show on Clyde 1 in Scotland from 3-6pm.

These changes will take place from Saturday 12 September.
